Lexus has officially revealed the 2026 LC 500, marking the final production year of this elegant and powerful grand touring coupe. With this release, Lexus gives the LC 500 a respectful farewell, focusing on exclusivity and refinement rather than major redesigns. As the last chapter for the LC lineup, this model celebrates everything that made the car special, including bold styling, a naturally aspirated V8 engine, and impressive craftsmanship.
A Final Edition with Exclusive Touches
The 2026 model introduces the return of the popular Inspiration Series for both coupe and convertible versions of the Lexus LC 500. These limited editions are designed for collectors and loyal fans who want something rare. The coupe Inspiration Series is limited to just 200 units in North America, while the convertible version is capped at 350 units. Each special edition features unique exterior colors, distinctive interior themes, and serialized badges that highlight their exclusivity.
The exterior design remains dramatic and eye-catching. The LC 500 keeps its bold spindle grille, sharp body lines, and low stance. New paint options such as Smoke Matte Gray for the coupe and Wind for the convertible add freshness to the lineup. Blacked-out trim pieces, forged alloy wheels, and carbon fiber details give the car a more aggressive and premium look without changing its original character.
Refined Interior and Modern Technology
Inside, the cabin continues to showcase high-quality materials and careful attention to detail. Soft leather, Alcantara accents, and precise stitching create a comfortable and luxurious space. The Inspiration Series models add special two-tone color combinations that enhance the premium feel.
For 2026, Lexus has made practical improvements by adding a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen with a user-friendly interface and wireless connectivity. Advanced safety systems and driver assistance features are also included, ensuring the car feels modern despite being in its final year.
Pure V8 Performance
Under the hood, the LC 500 retains its 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, producing 471 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a smooth 10-speed automatic transmission, it delivers strong acceleration and an engaging exhaust sound. Rear-wheel drive and available active rear steering help maintain confident handling. The hybrid version has been discontinued, making the V8 the only engine choice for 2026.
